Frequency Allocations

 


The radio spectrum starts at very low frequencies (VLF) which is below 10kHz and extends via low frequencies (LF), medium frequencies (MF), high frequencies (HF), very high frequencies (VHF), ultra high frequencies (UHF), super high frequencies (SHF) to extremely high frequencies (EHF). Most of the frequency allocations for the Radio Amateurs are in the HF to SHF spectrum.

Below please find the frequency allocations and band plans for the most relevant amateur radio bands in Germany. Please note that these charts might not be 100% up-to-date and should be verified with the most recent official documents.
